About Us

At Sunshine Preschool Center, we believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and inspiring environment to learn and grow. Our program combines fun activities, early education, and personalized attention to help children shine every day  nurturing not only academic skills, but also creativity, values, and confidence.

Our educational approach is inspired by the theories of Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, and Maria Montessori.
We believe that children learn best through hands-on exploration, play, and meaningful social interactions.
Following Piaget’s stages of cognitive development, we create opportunities for discovery and active learning.
From Vygotsky, we embrace collaboration and guided learning, recognizing the power of the zone of proximal development. And from Montessori, we adopt a philosophy that encourages independence, respect, and curiosity through a carefully prepared environment.

At Sunshine Preschool Center, we follow the principles of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), ensuring that every activity is tailored to each child’s age, abilities, and stage of growth.
With caring teachers and strong family partnerships, we provide a space where children learn with joy, grow with confidence, and develop a lifelong love for learning. 

Toddlers
(18 months – 3 years old)

A warm and nurturing environment where children begin to explore the world through their senses and movement. 

Inspired by Piaget’s sensorimotor stage, our activities encourage curiosity, fine and gross motor development, and early problem-solving through play.

Children learn independence, build trust, and develop their first social skills through hands-on experiences.

Preschool
(3 – 6 years old)

A creative and structured program that prepares children for kindergarten while fostering imagination and confidence.

Following Vygotsky’s and Montessori’s approaches, children learn through collaboration, guided discovery, and purposeful play. They strengthen early math, literacy, and self-regulation skills, nurturing both creativity and emotional intelligence.
